A Simple Introduction

Making natural soap is a beautiful blend of nature and creativity. It starts with the best, most nourishing oils for your skin – think coconut, olive, castor, or jojoba – combined with a lye solution to create a chemical reaction called saponification. The result? You end up with a beautiful, gentle, nourishing bar of soap that’s free from harsh chemicals and full of natural goodness.

Step 1

Choosing Your Oils. Each oil brings its own unique benefits:

Coconut oil for a bubbly lather

Olive oil for a creamy, gentle bar

Castor oil to boost foam

Argan or jojoba oil for extra nourishment

Blending oils helps create a balanced bar that both cleanses and conditions.

Step 2

The Fun Part - Mixing with Lye

Time to get your hands dirty! It’s time to mix with lye (sodium hydroxide), which is carefully mixed with water, then combined with the oils. Though lye might sound intimidating, it’s completely transformed during the soap-making process – none remains in the final product.

Step 3

Adding Fragrance & Extras. Once the soap mixture thickens, it's time to add the most exciting part

Essential oils for that extra bit of scent and skin benefits. Fragrance oils for a wider range of aromas. Botanicals, clays, or natural colorants for beauty and texture.

Step 4

Molding & Curing.

The mixture is poured into molds, set for 1–2 days, then cut and left to cure for 4–6 weeks. This makes the soap harder, longer-lasting, and milder on the skin.

It’s gentle, eco-friendly and full of ingredients your skin will love. If you’re curious about making it or just want to enjoy using it, then you’re in for a treat because it’s a beautiful step toward more mindful self-care.
